Inkd Publishing is calling for submissions of Speculative Fiction for their 2024 Hidden Villians edition.
Inkd Publishing LLC presently focuses on anthologies. We are building a stock of enjoyable reads focused in the fantasy and sci-fi genres. The theme for the Inkd Publishing Hidden Villains submissions is Betrayed.
There is no restriction as to how you incorporate the theme into your story as long as the genre falls within Speculative Fiction, including Sci-Fi or Fantasy. Inkd Publishing encourages you to weave the theme into an engaging story with well-developed characters and deep emotion. Suspense and thrillers are encouraged over horror for this anthology, but a great horror story will rise to the top. Stories that contain infanticide, rape, or gratuitous gore will not be accepted.

Guidelines for Inkd Publishing Hidden Villains
- Only one submission per author is accepted.
- They do not accept reprints or simultaneous submissions. Neither entries linked with AI writing. Ensure your story is original and your writing is eloquent.
- Word count should be a minimum of 2,000 words and a maximum of 8,000 words.
- All submissions should be made anonymously with no author name in the document.
- Use 12 pt Times or Arial; .Doc or .Docx; double-space; first line indent; no tabs used for formatting.
- Submissions should be made from the form on the Inkd Publishing Website.
Payment
02 cents per word + Royalty share from all Draft 2 Digital sales. A paperback author’s copy will be provided for US authors. Authors outside of the US will receive at least a digital copy; paperbacks with depend on shipping costs determined on a case-by-case basis.

The submissions period is from June 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023
