Fanstory Writing Contest 2022/ How To Enter (Prize; $100)

 

Since the year 2000 Fanstory writing contest  has been helping writers of all skill levels make connections and friends through their writing.

This year, Fanstory had opened its windows for a short story writing contest. The contest will be monitored by the Contest Entry Compliance Committee.

In the Fanstory “This Sentence Starts The Story” Writing Contest, Write a story that starts with this sentence: I’m glad you made it.

Your story must start with the sentence above. You have the option to put it in quotes (for dialogue) and to change the punctuation at the end for proper grammar. Your story can be about anything.

Example:
“I’m glad you made it!” screamed John. “The dialogue or story can continue…”

Fanstory Writing Contest

Eligibility For the Fanstory Contest 2022

  • The contest is free
  • it is not limited by geographical location or nationality.
  • You must register with Fanstory in order to enable you apply via their site.

 

Submission Requirements

  • If a word count is not specified then there is no word count requirement. However, it is  recommended that the  length of your entry is 5,000 words or less.
  • This contest is open to all registered members.
  • Past contest winners can join the contest.
  • One entry per person. New entries to the site only. If you already posted a work on FanStory.com that work is not eligible for a contest.
  •  To submit your entry, sign up to Fanstory . Members with reservations can use the link provided in their contest profile.
  • The winners will be selected by the Contest Committee.
  • A winner will be announced approximately one week after the deadline passes.
  • Cash prizes delivered by PayPal. Winners also have the option to choose a Visa Gift Card (US residents only) or Amazon Gift Card (where available).
  • Deadline: Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:59pm EST.
  • The winner takes away a $100 cash prize. All writers will receive feedback for their submission.
