Iko Africa, in partnership with Cashback, is calling for writers from Nigeria to submit to their first-ever competition.
The theme of Iko Africa x Cashback Writing Competition this competition is “Rewards”. A core tenet in human interactions; rewards, in many forms, drive human innovation. Whether you write fiction or non-fiction, feel free to explore this theme in imaginative and thought-provoking ways that transcend genre.
Iko Africa is a Lagos based startup Founded in 2022 that provides a platform for African authors to publish and distribute their work digitally. By bringing African narratives to a global audience, Iko Africa’s goal is to give African writers a platform to showcase their art. They aim to connect talented unheard African writers with an audience that is willing and excited to hear their stories.
And the exciting part of it is you don’t only get to showcase your talent but you also make money from it.
Submission Guidelines for Iko Africa X Cashback Writing Competition
- Word count: 1,000 to 1,500 words.
- Create an Iko account, click here.
- Publish your entry on Iko using the tag ‘Cashback’.

Three outstanding entries will be selected, and the winners will receive funded cards courtesy of Cashback:
