The Nommo Awards 2024 Shortlist has been Released / How to Vote

The African Speculative Fiction Society has released the Nommo Awards 2024 Finalists.

The Nommo Awards is an annual ceremony that honours works of speculative fiction in four categories: Best Novel, Novella, Short Story, and Graphic Novel.

The Nommo Awards 2024 Shortlist / How to Vote

 The African Speculative Fiction Society (ASFS) is a membership organisation of African writers, editors, comic and graphic artists, and filmmakers in the fields of speculative fiction, such as fantasy, science fiction, stories that draw on traditions, horror, and philosophical fiction. The award process usually involves members of the ASFS first nominating works of speculative fiction and later voting for winners. 

ASFS has released the Nommo Awards 2024 Shortlist for voting.

How to Vote for the Nommo Awards 2024 Shortlist

Nommo Awards 2024 Voting Process

There are 4 award categories:

Only works published between 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2023 are eligible. 

Voting opens from 17 June 2024 to 7 July 2024.

ASFS members will be receiving a unique email and link OpaVote with instructions.

If you have not received an email contact them at info@africanasfs.com
The work that receives the highest number of votes in each category will win the Nommo Awards.
