If you are you an African woman passionate about non-fiction writing and you dream of refining your voice and honing your writing skills in a supportive environment, then this is for you!

Cassava Republic Press is thrilled to announce their upcoming 10-day residential writing workshop tailored specifically for African women based on the continent.

At Cassava Republic Press, they believe in the power of storytelling to shape narratives and inspire change. That’s why they are excited to invite you to join them for this writing experience like no other. Led by an experienced Black woman author (soon to be announced), this workshop is designed to empower you to fuel your creativity and amplify your voice.

 

Eligibility for the Workshop 

  • The Location of the workshop is Johannesburg, South Africa. Entrants must be open to traveling.
  • Only black women can enter
  • More so, entry is free.
  • It is stated that it would last for 10 days and would be impactful!
  • More so, Non-fiction writing would be the focus! The set month to kick off is July, 2024!
