The Suburban Review Issue #39: Submit

Submit to The Suburban Review Issue #39: CLIMATE

The Suburban Review, Deadline: August 3, 2025 | 5:00 p.m. AEDT
Submit here: SUBMIT NOW

The climate is shifting—ecologically, socially, emotionally—and The Suburban Review wants your take.

Submissions are now open for Issue #39: CLIMATE, and the editorial team is seeking work that explores temperature in all its forms: heatwaves, cold shoulders, political pressure, cultural atmospheres, or emotional storms. They want your essays, your speculative fiction, your poetic droughts, your artistic floodings.

Theme Prompt:

What are you weathering?
What’s pressurizing your atmosphere? What does the climate of your body, community, or land feel like? From glacial prose to blazing poetry—if it smolders or storms, send it in.

Submission Guidelines for The Suburban Review

Submit only one piece or category per reading period. All work must be original and unpublished. Simultaneous submissions are allowed—just notify the team if accepted elsewhere (email: submissions@thesuburbanreview.com, subject: “Withdrawing submission”).
