The Brunel International African Poetry Prize Releases Shortlist

Yayyyyyy! The Brunel International African Poetry Prize Shortlist Has Been Released!

The shortlist is for the 6th Brunel International African Poetry Prize- a major prize of £3000. The prize is for the promotion and development of poetry from Africa, and we are certainly excited about this.

The judges this year are the poets and academics: Malika Booker; Kwame Dawes (University of Nebraska); Diana Evans; Mahtem Shiferraw; and Chair and founder, Bernardine Evaristo (Brunel University London). With the fine quality of poets on the list, we certainly don’t wish to be them!

We say a huge congratulations to these poets. Making this list is no small feat! We wish you all the best.
