Palette Poetry / How to Submit (up to $150)
Palette Poetry invites poets of all levels to submit their work for its Featured Poetry category, open year-round. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging writers to gain exposure and receive payment for their craft, with accepted poems earning $50 each, up to $150 per submission.
Eligibility Requirements for Palette Poetry
- Open internationally to poets writing primarily in English; inclusion of other languages is allowed if the poem is largely in English.
- Only unpublished work is accepted. Poems previously published in journals, blogs, or on social media are ineligible.
- Palette encourages submissions from historically marginalized and underrepresented voices.
Submission Guidelines
- Submit up to 5 poems in a single document, totaling no more than 10 pages. Do not make multiple submissions.
- Include a brief cover letter with your publication history and bio. Do not include identifying information in the poems themselves.
- You can submit simultaneously.
- Do not submit AI-generated work.
- Expect a response within 12 weeks; do not query until four months have passed.
Deadline
- They accept submissions year-round for the Featured Poetry category.
Payment
- $50 per accepted poem, up to $150 per submission.
