Cozy Cat Press 2019 Poetry Contest / How To Apply (Prizes: $175) + How To Submit Your Full-length Manuscript To Them

All seasoned poets are invited to apply for the Cozy Cat Press 2019 Poetry Contest. This year, the organizers will be looking out for the best mystery-themed poems. The contest free-to-enter and there are no geographical restrictions. Who knows? You might win one of the juicy cash prizes.

Submissions Guidelines For The Cozy Cat Press 2019 Poetry Contest:

  • Poems must be mystery-themed.
  • Poems should be up to two pages (not more).
  • Entrants are free to submit up to three poems.
  • Send only previous unpublished poems.
  • Manuscript format:  readable serif 10-12 pt font
  • All entries must reach the judges before the 1 July 2019 deadline.

How To Submit Your Entry For The Cozy Cat Press 2019 Poetry Contest

  • Only email submissions will be considered.
  • Subject line must read: “Cozy Cat 2019 Poetry Contest Submission”
  • Email your entry as an MS Word attachment to: [email protected]
  • Don’t forget to include your name and email so that they can contact you.


Prizes and Awards:

Winners of the Cozy Cat Press 2019 Poetry Contest will be awarded as follows



·       1st place: $100, illustration, and a print copy of book

·       2nd place: $50, illustration, and a print copy of book

·       3rd place: $25, illustration, and a print copy of book

ALL Winners will receive:

·       Publication in Cozy Cat Press Poetry anthology

·       A free ebook download of the anthology


Cozy cat press is also currently accepting mystery fiction manuscripts (50,000 – 70, 000 words). If interested, send the following materials as email attachments:

  • potential manuscript(s)
  • a formal query letter in Word.doc format
