Apply Now – Special Fiction Workshop For Women

Leila Aboulela will be running a special fiction workshop for women, where attendees will learn the rudiments of fiction-writing and how best to develop their narrative voice and writing style.

The workshop will take place during the Kaduna Book and Arts Festival at: 

  1. 12:00-18:00 on 5 July, 2017
  2. 09:30-16:30 on 6 July,2017.

Participants MUST attend both sessions.

We expect to work with women who have a strong interest in fiction-writing and have already worked on sustained writing in the past.

This competitive workshop will only be able to accommodate 20 women so applicants are required to submit a maximum of 400 words of their best piece of writing.

A light lunch and tea and biscuits will be provided on both days. Please bring along your own writing material.

Closing date for applications is 23 June, 2017. If successful, you will receive confirmation by 26 June, 2017.
